10.30am joint 'all age' service at thakeham
for those who don't know, 'bcp' stands for the book of common prayer which is basically a service book of extremely traditional language. it lasts for about 20 minutes, but it is really for those who just want a short quiet, traditional communion.
the main service this week will be held at thakeham and is an 'all age' service which means just that -we'll be carrying on with our theme for the year - 'the little people of the bible', and the idea is that we look at a particular story each month, then we unpack it a little throughout the sevice to see how it relates to us here in 2012. the idea is to make the service fun and relevant for eveyone - and hopefully we all get something from it.
we're trying to provide something for everyone, and of course everyone is welcome - we're basically aiming to make church relevant, interesting and accessible for eveyone. if you'd like any further information, please just get in touch with us.
