this coming sunday the services will be:
8.00am joint bcp communion at sullington
9.30am family communion at thakeham
for those who don't know, 'bcp' stands for the 'book of common prayer' which is basically a service book of extremely traditional language. it lasts for about 20 minutes, but it is really for those who just want a short quiet, traditional communion.
the main service at thakeham is a family communion service, and as always, everyone is welcome. although some of the content isn't that child friendly, we do provide a sunday school which runs alongside the church service and is much more relevant and fun for the kids. derek will be leading the service and talking to us today.
we believe the church here in thakeham exists to serve one another and the community, we're really trying to make church, relevant, interesting and accessible for everyone - we'd love to see and meet you.
