from the south - come along the a283 from the washington roundabout towards storrington. before you get to storrington you come through sullington and you approach a cross-road (still on the a283). it's signed right to west chiltington and thakeham. take that right onto water lane for about quarter of a mile until you come to a mini-roundabout. go right at the 1st roundabout, then take a left at the 2nd roundabout (the rydon school will be on your right). stay on that road which is called the storrington road for about 2 miles, you pass the old mushroom farm on you left, and the road narrows as you go through a gorge. watch out for the turning on your right called the street, which is signed to the parish church and the white lion pub. take that right and follow the road to the end until it bends left, you will see the church ahead of you.

from the north - come along the a272 towards coolham. when you get to the cross-road, turn left on b2139 towards thakeham. stay on that road until you past the thakeham village sign, then get ready to turn left onto the street. then follow the directions from above.
