from the east - come along the a283 from the washington roundabout towards storrington. before you get to storrington you come through sullington and you approach a cross-road (still on the a283). it's signed right to west chiltington and thakeham. take a left there onto sullington lane, and follow the road right round until you end up in a farm yard, and there you will see sullington church ahead of you. bizarre, but it's true!

from the west - come from storrington along the a283 towards steyning. about half a mile out of storrington you come to a cross-road which is signed left to thakeham and west chiltington. take a right turn there onto sullington lane. then follow the instructions as above.
