this sunday the services will be:
8.00am joint bcp communion at sullington (bcp is a short 20 minute traditional said service)
10.30am joint all age family communion at thakeham
for those who don't know, 'bcp' stands for the book of common prayer which is basically a service book of extremely traditional language. it lasts for about 20 minutes, but it is really for those who just want a short quiet, traditional communion.
the main service this week is held at thakeham and will be an 'all age' faimly service which means just that - we're trying to provide something for everyone, and of course everyone is welcome - we're basically aiming to make church relevant, interesting and accessible for all. if you'd like any further information, please just get in touch with derek on 01798 813121 or via email by clicking here.
we're carrying on with our theme this year 'stories jesus told' - different stories and parables that jesus talked about, then we'll basically try to engage with that idea a little deeper throughout the service to see how it relates to us here today- the aim is simple - that together we'll grow and develop on our journey of faith, in a fun, welcoming and hopefully non-threatening environment. we also will be celebrating the baptism of olivia turner this sunday, and we welcome her along with her parents david & louise and all her other family and friends.
